Who Are We?
BikoşuAdana Sports Club is a volunteer sports community based in Adana, focused on running and promoting a strong running culture.
The club’s main goal is to make sport a way of life, encourage regular running habits and contribute to greater awareness of active living in the community.
BikoşuAdana brings together people who love running, value growing together and want to share running culture with those around them. It is built on a strong sense of solidarity.
More Than a Running Group
At the heart of BikoşuAdana is not only running together, but also growing together, sharing experiences and supporting one another.
Regular training sessions, races, outdoor activities and volunteer work help the club become not only a sporting community, but also a strong social network.
With room for runners of every level, this community transforms running from an individual challenge into a shared experience.
Values United by Running
Consistency, volunteering, solidarity and respect for nature form the foundation of the club’s culture.
Running Together
Moving forward by sharing the run, supporting one another and coming together around common goals.
Consistency
Seeing sport not as a temporary activity, but as a regular and sustainable part of everyday life.
Volunteering
Contributing to club activities, events and organisations with a spirit of sharing.
Nature & Trail
Making respect for nature, endurance sports and the spirit of trail running part of the club culture.
From Training Grounds to the Trail
BikoşuAdana is not a community that runs only in the city. Trail running, outdoor training and endurance sports are important parts of the club’s sporting culture.
Running the course, understanding the terrain, adapting to natural conditions and working as a team also form the basis of the club’s field support for Amanos Ultra Trail.
Behind the Scenes at Amanos Ultra Trail
BikoşuAdana’s contribution to Amanos Ultra Trail goes far beyond race day. From course preparation to kit distribution and aid stations, volunteer fieldwork is an important part of the organisation.
Course Preparation
Fieldwork is carried out to define the courses, inspect them on site, evaluate the routes and prepare them for race conditions.
Course Marking
Volunteer support is provided for course signage and marking so athletes can follow the route safely and accurately.
Race Kit Distribution
Volunteer teams help prepare athlete packs, distribute race kits and guide participants before the race.
Aid Station Support
Volunteer teams play an active role at aid stations, welcoming and guiding athletes and supporting the field operations required during the race.
The Day Volunteer Effort Comes to Life on the Course
When race day arrives, months of preparation turn into real operations on the ground.
From the start and finish areas to the courses, aid stations and athlete guidance, BikoşuAdana volunteers take on a wide range of roles to help the race run smoothly.
This contribution is built not only on organisational experience, but also on a sporting culture that understands runners’ needs, knows the real conditions of the course and values teamwork.
